Description
Green Pygmy (Nettapus pulchellus). Only found in the far North of Australia, these guys are classified as perching ducks rather than geese. We only see them seasonally, so I was happy to get a few shots of these guys. They seem to travel in pairs rather than flocks. This is the male being the darker green around the face.
