Description
Female Olive Backed Sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis) keeping her eggs warm in her custom built house complete with overhang. These birds nested in the shed so I was lucky enough to see them gradually build the nest. It consists of many things, leaves, bark, spiderwebs, but they also used the threads from some polystrene chaff bags that happened to be in the shed where they built their nest.
